About the Journal

“New Indian Journal of OBGYN”, formerly “The Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Barpeta” is a peer-reviewed journal published bi-annually from Barpeta by the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta and the Obstetric & Gynaecological Society in collaboration. The journal publishes review, research works, case reports, short communication, commentary, and letters to the editor on topics relevant to Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The relevant scientific materials of other disciplines is also published if considered important from Obstetrics & Gynaecological point of view. The articles will be peer-reviewed by experts in the relevant field and edited by the editorial board before final publication.

“New Indian Journal of OBGYN” is an open access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of open access.
